SPE HyFTS OUTSTANDING GRADUATE STUDENT AWARD 2023
Congratulations to Ashtiwi Bahri, Colorado School of Mines, Jiayue Chen, Texas A&M University, and Jhon Uribe-Patino, University of Alberta.
Three students will be recognized by the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technical Section (HyFTS) with an Outstanding Graduate Student Award for graduate students pursuing research in hydraulic fracturing related areas:
- Ashtiwi Bahri, Colorado School of Mines
- Jiayue Chen, Texas A&M University
- Jhon Uribe-Patino, University of Alberta
The students were selected for this award based on their respective resume, recommendation letter and summary of their technical contribution, that may have resulted in a conference presentation and/or a journal publication related to Hydraulic
Fracturing, which may encompass topics related to state-of-the-art and future needs.
Recipients also must be an SPE member in good standing and a member of the SPE HyFTS. Recipients may only be recognized once with this award. Award certificates will be presented to the students at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition scheduled for 6-8 February 2024 in The Woodlands, TX. Each student will also receive $500.
